Sydney Private Schools introduces Jolimont Primary School in Jolimont, for all your education and learning needs.
Located in an inner metropolitan suburb, Jolimont's similarity to a country school distinguishes it from other metropolitan schools. It is positioned on 2.5 hectares of well-tended grounds with two ovals and the only natural bushland in the City of Subiaco.
Jolimont Primary provides students with a sense of belonging, purpose and civic responsibility. We foster a personal, friendly school community in which students are happy, confident and proud of their family, school and themselves. By virtue of its size, all students are known to each other and to the staff. It creates a very personal school tone and helps us to be aware of and develop the student's individual social, emotional and academic needs. Size, environment and tradition make Jolimont an ideal learning environment for students.
Jolimont Primary prides itself on its inclusive practices and the extent it values diversity. Programs are in place to meet the needs of students at risk, including the talented and gifted. Students are identified through collaboration with parents, observation and data collection including student work samples, national testing in literacy and numeracy and external assessments. Where a group of students are identified as being at risk, class based intervention programs are implemented. Education and behaviour management plans are developed for individual students identified at risk.
With its supportive school community, Jolimont Primary should continue to provide an outstanding educational environment for families in the area.
Welcome to Jolimont Primary School one of the popular educators in your Jolimont area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
