Jolimont Primary prides itself on its inclusive practices and the extent it values diversity. Programs are in place to meet the needs of students at risk, including the talented and gifted. Students are identified through collaboration with parents, observation and data collection including student work samples, national testing in literacy and numeracy and external assessments. Where a group of students are identified as being at risk, class based intervention programs are implemented. Education and behaviour management plans are developed for individual students identified at risk.
