Birdwood High School

Sydney Private Schools introduces Birdwood High School in Birdwood, for all your education and learning needs.

The technology for Birdwood High School is ever changing in line with the advancement of technology and continual and increasing need for students to access electronic devices. Birdwood High does provide some access to computers etc. in labs that can be booked by teachers, and several areas across the school have small labs. Many of our students already have their own laptop or iPad, which means their device is more portable across different areas of the school and increases flexibility of usage.

From 2014 and beyond students are actively encouraged to purchase and be responsible for looking after their own electronic device.

Where students have an iPad and require a desktop computer for particular tasks, students will be asked to access a desktop computer. Additionally, iPads will be available for students to borrow for individual lessons where an iPad is deemed to be the most appropriate tool.
