Gundagai South Public School is a small, inclusive, family orientated primary school in the Riverina Region of NSW which caters for the individual needs of all students. Our school provides stimulating and challenging quality learning programs, delivered in a safe and caring environment, catering for the educational needs of all students. The school is supported by an additional teacher for four days a week, specifically catering for the needs of those students who require additional learning support. The school teaches the Jolly Phonics program in the Infants classes and the Accelerated Literacy program. Students develop values of self-confidence, independence, respect, responsibility, leadership, initiative, resiliance and a caring attitude towards their fellow students. Tennis, swimming, dance, gym, technology, music lessons and excursions are offered each year in addition to the educational curriculum. The school has high expectations of the students and they are encouraged and supported to do their best and accept opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.
