Since opening in 2006, Dance Break has endeavoured to provide a comfortable environment where students are able to express themselves through the movement of dance. No stressing over large class and concert fees. Children are taught to a syllabus without the stress of exams or eisteddfods. Classes that will teach technique while having fun! Inexpensive, local and low-pressure. Dance Break is a dance school that both parents and children love and enjoy. Dance Break currently offers Ballet and Dance Fitness classes. Ballet classes focus on classical technique and set exercises from the RAD syllabus. A class in ballet will improve your dance technique, posture, rhythm, co-ordination, stamina, flexibility and balance. There are various classes for children of the age 3 and onwards. The purpose of Dance Fitness is to allow students to engage in a high-energy fitness class, which will increase flexibility, stamina and strength. The first part of the class is focused on on stretching and flexibility. The second part of the class is focused on dance-based cardio exercises. The third part of the class is focused on fundamental modern jazz techniques such as kicks, jumps and turns.
