Roleystone District High School, built to an award winning architectural design in 1980 and set in picturesque jarrah woodland, is a unique school catering for Year 6 to 7 Primary and Year 8 to 10 Secondary students.

Roleystone District High School was one of the first schools built in this state to meet the needs of students in the middle school years. The location of upper primary and lower secondary schools on the one campus facilitates a smoother transition from Year 7 to Year 8 and a co-ordinated approach to learning, pastoral care and discipline. The close working relationship between the dedicated, experienced staff enables the sharing of knowledge and resources, enhancing the learning environments in these vital learning years.

The school offers a full range of subjects in a modern, well equipped and resourced campus. Students are provided with a comprehensive library, computer facilities, home economics, manual arts and arts centres.

The school is an integral part of the Roleystone community with parents, teachers and community representatives playing an active role in furthering the education of the young people of Roleystone. School governance is based on participation by students, staff and community members.
