Cottesloe Primary School is a dynamic, public school with a rich heritage, strong traditions and identity. This history influences the development, operation and learning environment of our school.
Cottesloe Primary School values the strong participation and involvement of its community and the commitment from school staff. The School strives to support students in achieving their best academically, creatively and socially within and outside the classroom. The school is improving it's facilities, with the school buildings being highly valued for their local and state heritage. We aim to provide a state of the art learning and working environment for students and staff.
Cottesloe Primary caters for Kindergarten and primary aged children living in Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe, Mosman Park and surrounding areas. We are a non-local intake school therefore we can enrol students from anywhere but only if we have the capacity to take them. Approximately 350 students were enrolled at the school, grouped into fourteen Kindergarten to Year 7 classes. Facilities at the school include: a well resourced Library; specialist Art Room; specialist Music Room, Science and Technology building, computer laboratory and an Undercover Area. We are fortunate to have before and after school care facilities run by Camp Australia on site.
Welcome to Cottesloe Primary School one of the popular educators in your Peppermint Grove area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
