Kiara College is located in shady grounds on the western edge of the Swan Valley. Since opening in 1974, our school has developed a reputation for innovative programs and maintains a fine tradition of academic and vocational success enhanced by strong student support structures.

Successive years of growth in the suburbs of Kiara, Beechboro, Lockridge and Caversham, plus adjacent parts of Morley and Eden Hill have produced a comprehensive senior high school that has responsively served the western Swan Valley community.

At Kiara College extensive efforts and resources are devoted to providing a supportive and caring environment catering for student health and well being. Students come from over 30 different ethnic backgrounds, and are encouraged to form integrated friendship groupings and adopt inclusive values. Our Ngulla Maya Centre, NAIDOC Week and Harmony Day activities help to teach students to appreciate and value cultural diversity within the context of our unique Australian society.
