Beckenham Primary School

Beckenham Primary School was opened in 1912 and was initially known as East Cannington Primary School. We are a Class 5 Primary School with an enrolment of approximately 420 children from 4 year old to 12 year old students.

Beckenham PS was selected to become an Independent Public School commencing in 2011. This selection reaffirms the excellent reputation the school has developed. Being an Independent Public School will increase the involvement and empowerment of the local community and enable us to better use our resources to ensure our students achieve high standards in Literacy and Numeracy.

\The school priorities are Numeracy, Literacy, Active Citizenship and Physical Education.
