Sydney Private Schools introduces Challis Primary School in Armadale, for all your education and learning needs.
Challis PS shares its site with Challis Early Childhood Education Centre. We cater for children from Year 3 to Year 7 and the ECEC caters for children from kindergarten to Year 2. Whilst the schools are separate entities, we work together to provide the best possible education for all of the families in our schools.
We complement services to school aged children with a comprehensive suite of services to families and children from 0 to 3 years of age in what we call the Challis Parenting and Early Learning Centre. These services include Parent and Play sessions, 3 Year Old Kindy, and various allied health services. The full range of services is detailed in the About Us section of this webpage.
We currently have fourteen classes and we offer Art, PE and LOTE (Indonesian) as specialist areas. We have organised the school so that every morning all classes conduct a one and a half hour literacy block with each year level having an extra teacher to support the students during this time. We are involved in an extensive PE program which includes regular interschool fixtures and lightning carnivals. Whilst we do not have a designated music program our students have a heavy commitment to outside events through our school choirs.
