The name of Frayne College is inspired by Ursula Frayne who was the leader of the first group of Sisters of Mercy to arrive and work in Australia. The name maintains and deepens our regions connection with the Sisters of Mercy and their work in areas of social justice everywhere, but particularly in Australia.
