Sydney Private Schools introduces Prince Alfred College in Kent Town, for all your education and learning needs.
Prince Alfred College is one of Australia’s leading boys’ schools and is located in spacious grounds near the centre of Adelaide, South Australia.
Established by the Methodist Church in 1869, Prince Alfred College is affiliated with the Uniting Church in Australia and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
We educate over one thousand boys aged between 2 and 18 every year, including boarding and international students.
Our Purpose
We view students as individuals and take them on an educational journey.
Our goal is to realise the potential in every boy and help him become a compassionate, well rounded man of integrity.
We are an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) as well as the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and an engaging Vocational Education Training (VET) Programme.
Is it any wonder that we have gained such a highly regarded reputation throughout Australia and overseas?
Encapsulating a strong academic, Christian, sporting and co-curricular life, Prince Alfred College supports an education that is outside the normal boundaries.
We succeed when boys discover their talent and use it for the good of others.
We teach our students to question what lies ahead of them and to think creatively. Our core curriculum is a unique combination of traditional values and progressive thinking.
We ask our students – not what have you achieved – but what have you contributed?
We invite you to discover how Prince Alfred College will inspire excellence in your son.
Welcome to Prince Alfred College one of the popular educators in your Kent Town area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
