Belmont State School is a large Band 10, co-educational state primary school. Currently there are approximately 840 students enrolled. Belmont State School has a strong emphasis on academic excellence within a supportive and caring environment. Set in grounds on the corner of Old Cleveland Road and Scrub Road, Carindale the school caters for the full range of students from Prep to Year 7.
