Ascot State School provides high quality education from Prep to Year 7. The campus is located in Ascot approximately 7 kms from Brisbane GPO. Ascot is proud of its rich history, traditions and strong school spirit which have been embraced by generations of local families and new members of the Ascot community.

Outstanding school facilities include a purpose built Middle Phase Learning Centre containing Year 6 and 7 classrooms, outdoor learning areas and state of the art Information Technology. A modern air conditioned Library and Information Technology Centre provides access to a computer lab with 30 new computers, a multi-media classroom and an up to date collection of resources. A new Prep facility features child centred indoor activity centres and an early learning outdoor space. All classrooms are equipped with computers, interactive whiteboards and access to a number of multi-media devices.

Other facilities include a 25 metre heated swimming pool, Assembly Hall, specialist play equipment and playgrounds, Art Room, Music Room, covered games areas and a second computer lab. The school tennis courts are located off campus.
