Being a part of the Priority Schools Program, Plunkett Street Public School currently enjoys additional staffing, which assists in reducing class numbers, as well as increasing literacy and numeracy resources. This combination, in conjunction with the tireless efforts of the hardworking and dedicated staff ensures that all students receive a quality education across all Key Learning Areas which is directly tailored towards their individual learning needs. The school is also extremely fortunate to have an Aboriginal Education Officer on staff who assists teachers in educating all students about Aboriginal perspectives and Aboriginal history.
