Windang Public is a small community school with a strong focus on the values of safety, unity, respect and fairness. Our school is situated on just under three hectares of grounds, with extensive playing fields for our students to enjoy. Particular emphasis is given to the basic skills although we also provide a wide range of extra-curricula activities to engage our students through Dance, Music, Chess, Public Speaking, Gifted and Talented, Student Representative Council, Environmental Team and Sport(including gala days and representative teams).

Windang Public has a strong technology focus with interactive whiteboards, a video conferencing connected classroom, technology laboratory and dedicated technology lessons. Teachers use this technology daily to enhance lessons across all the Key Learning Areas.
