Our school was established in 1912. Since its opening, it has been a primary school, a central school, a girls‟ high school and an infants school.

With this chequered history, and now a K-6 primary school, it has a range of facilities for the students. It has a school hall, a computer room and computer mobile labs, a library, a range of musical instruments to hire, fitness equipment and a variety of playground facilities set amongst attractive gardens.

Homebush West Public School is a growing school of approximately 340 students. The school student population is comprised of both students from non-English speaking backgrounds (90%) and English speaking backgrounds (10%). A large range of cultures is represented in the student population.
