Sydney Private Schools introduces Spring Into Drama in Mitcham, for all your education and learning needs.
At Spring Into Drama we understand the importance of creating a happy, positive, safe and fun environment for your child, whilst engaging in Drama and developing the 4 C's. We know that every child is different. Whether they are confident and energetic, reserved or thoughtful, our Drama classes will bring out the best in your child. Students will gain confidence, self-esteem and learn to express themselves creatively and effectively through our Drama classes. The curriculum is broad to enable students to experience a wide range of styles and skills. In the Drama classes, young people will explore their creativity and develop skills through; improvisation role play improving vocabulary social awareness communication skills improving pronunciation in spoken English movement and singing fun drama games working with scripts developing performance making new friends Ms Faye holds a BA Hons in Acting and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Faye has been acting and singing in London for 11 years before moving to Melbourne last May. Her last performance was singing live on stage with the legend Stevie Wonder at The Ark Charity Event. Faye also has an up to date Working with Children Check and is a member of SDTAV (Speech & Drama Teachers Association of Victoria). Students will also have the opportunity to present for Drama and Public Speaking examinations conducted by Trinity College London. When: Tuesday 8-10 year olds 4-5pm Tuesday 11-12 year olds 6-7pm Term 1: Tue 7th Feb-27th March (8wks) Cost: Term 1: $126 (8wks) FREE trial session included!
